First off, this is the type of place we need to keep alive. Downright one of the most personable experiences I’ve ever had with auto repair. Spike Jones the owner of Hot Rod Auto Body gave us exactly what we needed for a very, very reasonable price in a very short time span. My daughter was on a road trip to come visit us and was unable to avoid a very large semi truck tire at night on the highway and ran over it, splitting her bumper on her Honda Into multiple pieces and breaking some of the support structure. She got in late Friday night and we obviously needed to get the repair done in a short amount of time so that she could have a safe vehicle to drive back home. He was one of the few places open on a Saturday and he answered the phone right away and was very excited to be able to help us fix her car. Instead of ordering a new bumper façade, he fabricated and plastic welded all of the pieces back together. Color matched and painted, reinstalled and re-enforced her bumper and had it ready in a couple of days. Well, within the amount of time we needed to get her back on the road. This man means business! Best bang for your buck. Spike is communicative, reasonable on pricing, and he knows what hes doing. Trust the reviews this dude is seriously underrated in Melbourne. My car has 100k miles and it looks brand new.

My 2015 RED Toyota Sienna van was looking very shabby. The clear coat was peeling and the paint fading. Instead of buying a new van (because the interior looks very good, only 88,000 miles and it runs great), my husband and I decided to get it painted. Well, how fortunate for us that we found Spike. He suggested a white pearl color instead of repainting it red. What? I thought the most practical thing would be to repaint the same color but we trusted Spike every step of the way. The initial quote increased but that was because of the premium paint that I chose and some other issues. Spike took care of everything. We feel that what we paid was worth every penny. Spike is a perfectionist. He takes great pride in his work and it certainly shows. My van looks brand new. Thank you Spike!

brought my 2017 Ram Laramie to Hot Rod Paint and body. I spoke with Spike the mechanic to do body work on my truck. I had dings and dents all over from other car door hitting it or whatever. Spike said he could do the job. His fee was less than everyone else. Spike kept in constant communication with me throughout the process. Sending pictures of my truck and the whole process start to finish. He also sent pictures of many extras he did for free because apparently he's a generous guy. When I got my truck back it looked brand spanking new. He fixed all the damage and much more. He even buffed up the rims. His painting is flawless! He put a scoop on the front of my truck. It looks so bad ass cool! It was his scoop too. My truck is new again thanks to spike! He worked extremely hard on it. I made a great decision taking it to him. A real mechanic like Spike is hard to find. Thank you!

Spike is a very talented man, and a man of his word, what he promises is what you will get. He installed a front and rear dash cam for me in my wife’s hybrid car, i know it was a tedious job. Spike gave a great price and not a trace of wires to be seen. I give him an A+ rating , if you are looking to do any automotive work from paint to installs you have to talk with Spike at Hot Rod Paint and Body, Thanks spike we will be seeing you soon for are other car.
